KUWAIT CITY, Oct 23: ITHC-Movenpick’s Ken Najera demonstrated his vast supremacy Friday when he scored 36 points and 3 rebounds to catapult his side to halt the winning streak of D’Lush with an 83-66 win, while Safat Al-Ghanim zoomed past FKTC as the 7th Conference of the Philippines Basketball Club in Kuwait (PHILBACK)/ Western Union Basketball Tournament entered week six at the Jawhara Khalijia Arabic School in Riggae.
Led by previous season’s member of the mythical five, Kenneth Najera, Jon-Jon Labadon and Allan Mendiola, MVP for the previous season, the ITHC hoteliers were able to subdue the ever-improving D’Lush, despite a 4-point first quarter lead by the luxury beverage specialists in the early moments of the game.

Najera topped all scorers with 36 markers while Labadan made 18 and Mendiola added 12 for the hoteliers. Norman Rustia and Erwin Bartolome tallied 32 and 20 points each in the losing effort for the D’Lush beverage specialists. Continue Reading on Arab Times
