Ward vs Kovalev rematch results: Luis Arias knocks out Arif Magomedov

Luis Arias remained undefeated after he secured a knockout victory over Arif Magomedov in the Ward vs Kovalev rematch, opening the PPV at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino, Events Center, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Arias (18-0, 9 KO’s) landed two unanswered right hooks to the head that send Magomedov down. Magomedov (18-2, 11 KO’s) was able to get up and beat the count, but Arias wasted no time and jumped in to finish the fight. The referee stepped in and stop the fight.

The official time of the stoppage was at 1:16 mark of round five.
