Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao vs Floyd “Money” Mayweather: Is it worth waiting for?

Via Google Images

Boxing is waiting for this fight to materialize from the time Manny Pacquaio annihilated Oscar dela Hoya during their fight last December 6, 2008: almost four years now.

Boxing fans craving for this fight become more intense when again the Pacman brutally knockout Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton in just two rounds in May 2009.

However, both men have reasons not to sign the agreement to fight against each other.

Pacman is more than willing to fight but, with "ifs" and "buts" with regards to Floyd’s demand. While Mayweather had a long list of demands that if Pacman complies one of them, another one if not two more demands comes in.

The question is that: Is this fight worth waiting for? It has been almost half a decade now, that boxing fans waited for. Is it what the boxing fans deserve for following boxing and after all, the ones who patronize and pay for tickets and pay per view packages?

Still I am hoping for this fight to happen this year. However, since Manny need to fight every schedule he has before considering retirement; whoever the opponent may be, aside from Floyd might lost and may affect the marketability of this fight. The fight that boxing experts consider as the richest fight in boxing history.

After all these years, the question is still the same: is it really worth waiting for?
