Manny Pacquiao’s controversial same-sex marriage comment still got its negative effect.
Pacquiao, who is going to face American Timothy Bradley anew in a rematch, according to a report was attacked by a man at Kabuki Restaurant in Hollywood. The attacker referenced the comment Pacquiao made in a TV interview earlier.
According to the report, “all of a sudden, a tall, decently dressed man around 35 to 40 years old lunged at the boxer and tried to throw a punch” but Edward Lura, Pacquiao’s friend was able to fend off the attacker.
Pacquiao is in Los Angeles training for his showdown with Tim Bradley in Las Vegas this coming weekend.
