Park Chu-Young and Kuwait’s Hussain Ali scored for their sides. With this result the two teams maintain their positions on the league table with South Korea on top with four points followed by Kuwait also with four points but with inferior goal aggregate. The Azraqs, having won the toss, started the game on a high note with Fahad Al-Enezi already spotted in the Korean vital area in the second minute and Walid firing the first shot at the Korean keeper in the fourth.
