Britain's four-time world super-middleweight champion Carl Froch announced on Tuesday that he's "officially retired from boxing".
Froch, 38 has a record of 33 wins out of 35 fights, having 24 victories by knockout, with only two defeats.
Froch put an end to his own idea of fighting Gennady "Triple G" Golovkin. Few weeks ago, he's hinting on fighting undefeated middleweight titlist Golovkin.
In an interview, Froch told the Nottingham Post that he "fear no man - including Golovkin".
Boxing fans got excited for the last two weeks for this development, but on Tuesday Froch posted on Twitter about retirement.
I'm officially retired from Boxing. So much to say & so many people to thank. But for now, I just want to say THANK YOU to my amazing fans.

Froch last fight was a high note. He knockout George Grooves in a rematch in front of 80,000 fans at the Wembley Stadium.
